BASIC TRAINING 2008
All Day “Conference Style” Training
Saturday, September 20th
Registration begins at 9:30AM by Roone Arledge Auditorium.
Breakfast & Lunch will be provided
ALL ABC Organizations MUST Attend!
A minimum of 2 executive board members from your organization must attend (treasurer & president), but more are welcome.
Treasurer’s Workshops will be offered. All treasurers must take advantage of this opportunity to avoid frozen club accounts.
University event management, the Office of Special Events/Facilities, TIC, and Earl Hall will also be available to provide all the information you need to successfully plan events on campus.
Your ABC reps and your SDA/OMA advisor will facilitate sessions on their roles, policies & procedures, and the nuts and bolts of leading a club and planning events successfully.

What happens if I cannot attend Basic Training?
If you cannot attend Basic Training for some reason, please email your advisor explaining the situation.
All Presidents and Treasurers must make-up both an Advising Session and a Treasurers Training. All Advisors will be making individual appointments to make up the Advising Session, so email your advisor.
SACBO will be holding two additional ABC Treasurer Trainings the following two weeks after Basic Training on:
Tuesday, 9/23/2008- Lerner 568, 5-7pm
Wednesday, 10/01/2008, Lerner 477, 5-7pm
If you plan on attending a Make-up Treasurers Training, Please RSVP to Jason Anthony at jla2108@columbia.edu with the name(s) of participants & positions by Monday, September 22nd.
